Riders sit in an inward-facing circle, which is attached to a large pendulum. The over-the-shoulder-restraints are one of the more uncomfortable ones you will come across on park, especially as they slam down so quickly onto you! However, whilst you spin at 15RPM and reach heights of over 60ft, this is hardly noticeable.

Vortex is a fun, thrilling ride, but tends to be (somewhat unfairly) overlooked when compared to the nearby swinger, Rush.
